Questions

1. Why do you think Rameck made the choices he did? He knew right from wrong, so what motivated him to choose the "wrong" path as a teen? He didn't really have all that great of influence from his Mom (abused crack), I think that he also wanted to find acceptance within his neighborhood and feel a sense of belonging

2. Considering both his parents were drug addicts, was he really responsible for his actions? Explain your opinion. I think that it's a little of both because in some ways he's not responsible for his actions because that's what he grew up around (Drugs) and he never learned those important morals for instance to think for you're self until later on when he starts to figure out who he is and what he values, Then again he should have known if what he was doing was really the right thing to do and if it was really worth takeing the consiquence that came along with his actions.

3. Are young people responsible for their actions if they have no good role models or people to teach them the right way to live? Explain your opinion.I think that it depends because if theres no role modle or authority figure in a young person's life then it's hard to say because in some ways they are responsible and in other ways there not. If they never learn whats right and wrong and arn't old enough or mature enough to find out on their own, then I wouldn't hold them accountable for their actions. If they know what there doing is wrong and they do it anyways to be accepted by a certain group of people then I would say there responsible for their actions.

4. Who are the biggest influences in your own life? In what ways have they shaped you? What have they taught you?

The biggest influence in my life is my parents because they have always been their for me when I've needed them and I can always rely on them to help me through tough times. I've just always felt like I can go to them with anything thats bothering me. They helped get me through hard times when I felt I couldn't do it they were always there to motivate me and encourage me to keep trying.
